CDL - Dump Truck Operator

About the Role

The driver will be required to always conduct him/her as a professional employee on and off the jobsite. Pre-trips and post-trips are to be done every day, which will include inspection of fluids, tires, lights, interior items, and other operational parts on the truck that are required to perform the job. Also, being punctual to the jobsite is highly important and will be monitored by supervisor. The driver will need to ensure that the material is loaded and offloaded properly and in a safe manner. The driver will need to fuel his/her own truck that has been assigned. The driver will need to ensure that he/she can work in various weather conditions, including snow and ice days. It is our company’s preference to maintain all employees on a day shift schedule, however, if there is a need to work at nights, the driver should be readily available to work night hours.

Requirements:

·         CDL Class A or B with no more than 2 violations (zero violations under the age 25)

·         Able to Pass Drug Test

·         Able to Pass Background Check

·         Safety Minded at ALL TIMES

·         Have some basic mechanical knowledge – Preferred.

·         Ability to work in outdoor conditions in all seasons.

·         Able to be loaded and to off load material safely

·         Perform daily inspections.

·         Previous dump truck experience – Preferred.

·         Able to work Days and Nights, as the job comes about – Required

·         Able to work Monday through Friday, and Saturdays as the job comes about- Required.

·         Able to keep the dump truck clean, including, Interior of cab, exterior of cab, and inside dump box.

·         Able to speak English

·         Has to live within 25 miles from Main Office

Starting Pay: $22.00+ per hour

  • Night Work Additional Pay

    • additional $2 on your regular hourly rate.

  • Winter Operations Additional Pay

    • additional $2 on your regular hourly rate.

    • Excludes the night incentive during this operation.
